Soft-cut carving blocks

Rubber-like blocks softer than traditional linoleum that carve easily with less hand strain. Hold fine detail for printing on fabric or paper.

What to look for

  1. 1Blocks at least 4x6 inches (enough space for a detailed design)
  2. 2Thickness 0.25 inches or more (won't flex under carving pressure)
  3. 3Soft-Kut,, or similar soft carving material (not battleship linoleum)
  4. 4Multi-pack if trying multiple designs

Skip

  • Hard gray linoleum marketed for floors (requires much more force)
  • Blocks thinner than 0.2 inches (bend and distort during carving)
