End sessions by reviewing your route data in the apps—many track stats like distance walked, catches made, and success rates. Note locations where GPS was unreliable (urban canyons, dense tree cover) to avoid frustration on future runs. Cache hides that stumped you? Favorite them to retry with more experience.
