Miniature painting starter set

Paints, brushes, and sometimes starter miniatures for painting tiny fantasy or hobby figures. The small scale demands intense focus, and you see real progress in 1–2 hour sessions.

What to look for

  1. 1At least 8–12 base colors (you'll mix but need primaries + black/white)
  2. 22–3 brushes in different sizes (detail, base coat, wash)
  3. 3Acrylic paints designed for models (craft paint won't stick or cover)
  4. 4Starter miniatures or primer included helps beginners start immediately

Skip

  • Sets with only 4–5 colors (too limiting)
  • Enamel paints unless you want the smell and slow dry time

Used for: Meditative 2-hour focus sessions · Building hand-eye coordination with tiny details · Creating display-worthy pieces from scratch · Flow state practice with visible results
