Fine-tip permanent markers (multi-color)

Permanent ink markers with 0.5-1mm tips that write cleanly on card stock without bleeding or smudging. Multiple colors let you create quick visual sorting systems—color-code by difficulty, season, location type, or completion status.

What to look for

  1. 1Truly permanent, waterproof ink (test on similar card stock if possible)
  2. 2At least 6-8 distinct colors for flexible coding systems
  3. 3Fine tip (under 1mm) so you can fit detailed text on small cards
  4. 4Quick-drying ink that won't smudge when cards stack immediately

Skip

  • "Washable" or erasable markers (they fade and smear with handling)
  • Sets with mostly similar shades (three blues don't help organization)
  • Tips thicker than 1.5mm that make small text illegible

Used for: color-coding quest card categories for quick sorting · adding completion marks and difficulty ratings to cards · creating visual symbols for seasonal or time-specific quests · marking favorite or high-priority challenges
