EMF detector
A handheld meter that senses electromagnetic fields from wiring, radio signals, and active electronics. Maps invisible infrastructure like power cables, cell towers, and broadcasting equipment that metal detectors miss.
What to look for
- 1Detects both low-frequency AC fields (power lines, 50–60 Hz) and RF signals (wireless, MHz–GHz range)
- 2Visual display (LEDs or screen) plus audio alerts for hands-free searching
- 3Sensitivity adjustment so you're not overwhelmed by your own phone
- 4Frequency range up to at least 6 GHz to catch modern wi-fi and 5G
