Constellation flashcards
Portable reference cards showing star patterns, names, and mythology for major constellations. Faster to use outdoors than a book or phone screen that kills your night vision.
What to look for
- 1Covers 40+ constellations visible from your hemisphere
- 2Shows star magnitudes or brightness levels so you know what you can actually see
- 3Includes neighboring constellations for context and navigation
- 4Water-resistant or laminated for dewy grass and night air
Skip
- Cards so large they need two hands—you'll be holding a flashlight too
- Designs that omit magnitude info—you'll hunt for invisible stars
Used for: Identifying constellations in real time without a phone · Learning mythology and cultural stories under the stars · Teaching kids or friends during group stargazing · Preparing for astronomy merit badges or coursework
