Airtight palette with multiple wells

A paint palette with separate wells that seals completely to keep watercolors or acrylics wet between sessions. The wells prevent colors from mixing accidentally, and the lid stops paint from drying out.

What to look for

  1. 1At least 12 wells for individual colors plus 2+ large mixing areas
  2. 2Truly airtight seal (test reviews—many 'airtight' palettes leak or dry out)
  3. 3Wells at least 0.5" deep so mixed paint doesn't run together
  4. 4White or neutral interior so you see true colors, not tinted by the palette

Skip

  • Shallow wells under 0.25" deep that cause color contamination
  • Lids that only snap loosely—paint will dry out overnight

Used for: Keeping mixed watercolors fresh for multiple painting sessions · Organizing colors without contamination during detailed work · Reducing paint waste and prep time
