Wire clay cutter with wooden handles
A taut wire stretched between two handles that slices through soft clay. Cuts cleaner lines than a knife without dragging or distorting the clay.
What to look for
- 1Stainless steel wire (won't rust from wet clay)
- 2Wooden or textured handles for grip
- 3Wire length 10–12 inches (enough to cut across a bowl base)
- 4Replaceable wire or crimps you can re-tension
