Timer cube
A cube-shaped timer you flip to preset durations (usually 5, 10, 25, 60 minutes). The physical gesture of setting it creates commitment, and there's no phone to distract you mid-quest.
What to look for
- 1At least three preset times including 25 minutes (standard focus block)
- 2Audible alarm or strong vibration (visible countdown alone isn't enough)
- 3Battery or USB rechargeable (no hunting for watch batteries)
- 4Soft alarm option if you use it in shared spaces

- Cubes with only 1, 3, 5 minute presets (too short for most quests)
