Fleece neck gaiter

A tube of fleece fabric that covers your neck and lower face without the bulk or slippage of a scarf. Stays put in wind and stuffs into a pocket when you don't need it.

What to look for

  1. 1Fleece or microfleece lining (not just thin synthetic)
  2. 2Enough stretch to pull over your nose but not so loose it slides down
  3. 3At least 10" height when laid flat for full neck coverage

Skip

  • Summer-weight gaiters marketed for sun protection (too thin for warmth)
  • Designs without any elastic (won't stay up)

Used for: staying warm during rooftop sunrise waits · blocking wind between tall buildings
